Join us during Small Business Week for an engaging and informative workshop designed for budding entrepreneurs and innovators! This session will explore the critical aspects of Intellectual Property (IP) and prototyping as key components of product development. Hosted by both the Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre and Confederation College Applied Research and Innovation, this event will offer insights into the essentials of IP, share real-life entrepreneurial stories, and provide valuable guidance on choosing the right IP strategy. A representative from CIPO (Canadian Intellectual Property Office) will also be virtually attending to answer any questions about the IP process. Participants will also have the opportunity to tour Confederation College's prototyping equipment—get inspired by seeing the capabilities and cutting-edge technology available to help bring your ideas to life!
