South Core Roar 2026

South Core Roar is a free two-day community festival taking place in Downtown Fort William on August 1 and 2, 2026. Hosted by the Fort William Business District BIA, this event is designed to bring residents, visitors, families, businesses, riders, performers, and community organizations together in the heart of the South Core.

The festival will feature live entertainment, a multicultural stage, Indigenous programming and learning opportunities, family-friendly activities, vendors, motorcycles, classic cars, community booths, and downtown business engagement. South Core Roar will create an exciting and welcoming atmosphere where people can explore the district, support local businesses, enjoy performances, and take part in a vibrant celebration of community.

The event footprint will include key areas of Downtown Fort William, with programming designed for all ages. Families can enjoy children’s activities, crafts, and interactive experiences, while visitors can take in live music, cultural performances, motorcycles, classic vehicles, food vendors, and community displays. The event will also highlight the history, diversity, creativity, and resilience of the Fort William business district.
