The village of Hymers, near Thunder Bay, Ontario, hosts a true classic Country Fair every year.
This is the place to see contests, horse and cattle shows, and to chat with the friendly people who come out each year to enjoy the real atmosphere of country living in Canada. This year’s theme is Sunshine and Sunflowers!
Don’t miss out this September! Take in excellent performances on our two outdoor stages at the Hymers Fall Fair this Labour Day weekend. Free with gate entry, you can enjoy up to 5 bands each day on the Main Stage, performing country, old rock, Celtic, blues, and jazz.
Bring your kids to the Hilltop Stage, next to the children’s playground, for some good old-fashioned fun and music to keep your kids and yourself entertained.
Every year we have different shows, demonstrations, and competitions, but some favourites return every year: Horse & Livestock Shows, Craft Demonstrations, and Numerous Fun Contests!
One of the fun things about visiting the Fair is browsing the booths and tables vendors have set out with their handmade wares, fresh vegetables and fruit, and information about fun volunteer opportunities or interesting destinations in the area. And how about some awesome ready-to-eat food? There is no need to bring a lunch or go home for dinner when you are visiting the Hymers Fair! You will typically find all of that and more.
Come over to the Kid Zone and spend some time playing with good old-fashioned games that will challenge the kid in all of us!
The Hymers Fair offers one-stop dining from finger foods to sit down dinners. There is no need to bring a lunch. We offer something for all.
