To usher in the 2026-27 season, NOSFA is pleased to announce a unique film event — a mini-festival of some of the great silent films of a bygone era, accompanied by a remarkable pianist, Bruce Vogt.

Bruce, a concert and recording artist, also possesses the great gift of improvisation. He has been fascinated by the silent film genre from an early age and has shared his talents in bringing them to life with audiences across Canada, Europe and Japan.

We are excited to welcome Bruce to Thunder Bay and anticipate a wonderful viewing and listening experience for the whole family. The festival will be held in Trinity Hall (310 Park Ave.) on Friday 

Sept. 18th and Saturday Sept. 19th. All the details are contained in the accompanying poster.
