CONSORTIUM AURORA BOREALIS CONCERT SAT. FEB. 6, 2027

BEETHOVEN CHAMBER MUSIC

We celebrate the master on the 200th anniversary of his death in the first concert of our 2027 Beethoven Mini-Festival. Our fine local string players pay tribute to this greatest of Classical-era composers, beginning with Beethoven’s gracious Serenade in D major, Op. 25 for flute, violin and viola, continuing with his stirring String Trio in C minor, Op. 9, No. 3, and concluding with Beethoven’s intense String Quartet Op. 18, No. 4 in C minor. There will be a ballot draw at intermission for a lovely $100 gourmet gift basket from Rollason Flowers.
