What if the unknown isn't as far away as you think?

This October, Thunder Bay becomes the meeting place for people fascinated by the unexplained, the paranormal, the strange and the unusual.

Lake Superior Paracon returns October 16–17, 2026, bringing together paranormal investigators, psychics, researchers, storytellers and curious minds for an immersive weekend unlike anything else in Northwestern Ontario.

The experience begins Friday night at Fort William Historical Park, where guests will enjoy dinner and an exclusive After-Dark Paranormal Investigation across five haunted buildings.

On Saturday, the Paracon Experience at the Delta Hotel features 12 guest speakers exploring everything from paranormal investigation and haunted history to Sasquatch, psychic mediumship and the occult.

And there's plenty to explore beyond the main event. The FREE Strange & Unusual Paracon Market brings together 40+ vendors offering oddities, curiosities, art, astrology, psychic readings, specialty treats and unique creations. The market is free and open to the public.

Then, as darkness falls, Saturday night takes a turn...

An Evening with Spirits invites guests to take their seats at a Victorian Séance Experience featuring Sam Baltrusis, Angel Morgan and the Lucky Paranormal Team.

Lake Superior Paracon is proud to support Murillo Mutts Respite Refuge, a local animal-welfare organization dedicated to keeping pet families together when their owners are facing a crisis. During Paracon, guests will have the opportunity to make donations in support of Murillo Mutts and the animals in their care.
