Every Sunday from December 22nd – March 8th, embrace winter by taking part in a different fun outdoor FREE activity. This week, join Boreal Journeys Sled Dog Kennel for a scenic dogsled ride along the shores of Lake Superior. Well waiting families will be able to meet the sled dogs, learn about the history of dogsledding and how it is still used as a mode of transportation today. Note that this is an extended activity running from 12pm to 4pm. Rides will be offered at Prince Arthur’s Landing – Spirit Garden. Please note, rides are for children only (aged 14 and under).

After you've enjoyed the Winter FunDay activity outside, you can warm up with a creative activity inside Mariner's Hall with the Community Arts & Heritage Education Project (CAHEP). This week, you can make a collage of various City Sport accomplishments and create your own hybrid Pokémon characters.

Winter FunDays hours are 2pm - 4pm unless otherwise noted. Schedule is subject to change in situations of extreme weather.

Full schedule is available at www.thunderbay.ca/winterfundays.
