September 1st is a day to honour the day Terry Fox was forced to stop running and his Marathon of Hope ended.

Gather 6:30am

Ceremony 6:45am - 7:15 (Sunrise 7:15am)

_____________

Following the Sunrise Ceremony be a part of a once in a lifetime tribute to Terry Fox's Legacy

On September 1, Judith and Fred Fox, Terry’s sister and brother, will lead a very special hike – in a very special place: Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. The Park and its iconic rock formation sit near the exact spot Terry was forced to stop running on September 1, 1980.

The hike is a tribute to Terry’s determination and his relentless optimism.

It’s a celebration of his enduring legacy.

And it’s an opportunity to fundraise for the thing that mattered most to Terry: a world without cancer.
