Join Carlito’s Board Game Cafe and The Thunder Bay Museum on Saturday January 24 and Sunday January 25 for a weekend of gaming! With role-playing games (RPG), Warhammer, model painting, board games, and card games we’ve got something for everyone! See below for our available sessions:

Intro to RPG Sessions (Free): Jan 24 & 25: 10:00-11:00 am; 11:00 am-12:00 pm; 12:00-1:00 pm; 1:00-2:00 pm

Interested in RPGs but don’t know where to start? Join us for a one-hour introductory session on various role playing games, including Pathfinder, Welcome to the Hellfire Club, Daggerheart, and Dungeons and Dragons! Sign up required ahead of time.

RPG Adventures ($25): Jan 24 & 25: 2:00-6:00 pm

Join us for a 4-hour, no-prep one-shot where heroes are thrown straight into the action. Step into the fantastical worlds of Pathfinder, Welcome to the Hellfire Club, Daggerheart, and Dungeons and Dragons! This longer session takes players deeper into the story started in the intro session led by our knowledgeable game master. Everything you need to play will be provided but feel free to bring your own lucky dice! Sign up is required ahead of time. Attendance to the intro session is not mandatory to join in the afternoon session. 

Warhammer 40k Tournament ($40): Jan 24 & 25: 10:00 am-6:00 pm

Lock and load for our two day, 2000 point RTT (Rogue Trader Tournament)! This two day event will feature 4 rounds and action packed Warhammer carnage. Prizes will be awarded for participation, top 8 finish, top 3 and our champion! Sign up is required ahead of time.

Card and Board Games (cost of Museum admission): Jan 24 & 25: 10:00 am-6:00 pm

More of a casual games fan? We’ll have a selection of board and card games available to play. No sign-up required—just pay at the door when you arrive.  

Model Painting Competition ($10): Drop off Jan 23 at 3:00-10:00 pm at Carlito’s; Awards ceremony and pickup Jan 25 at 3:00 at the Museum. 

Bring your A-game and show off what you've been painting! Bring a fully painted and based model and enter our painting competition. Attendees will vote on which model is their favourite and our winner will be showered with praise and riches! Sign up is required ahead of time.
