Wake the Giant Music Festival will return to the Thunder Bay waterfront this September! The world-class event that celebrates inclusivity and Indigenous culture hits the stage on Saturday, September 6th, 2025.
Festival goers can expect a cultural experience, delicious local foods and an Indigenous Craft Market. This is a family-friendly event that includes a Kids Zone just for your littles! Children 11 and under are free but still require a general admission ticket by selecting the option below.

Wake the Giant is a movement that was created in 2019 to provide the Thunder Bay community with awareness and tools to better respond to racism and help celebrate the enduring cultural diversity of Indigenous Peoples. It is a volunteer-led initiative. All funding raised from the music festival supports Indigenous youth who are high school students from remote First Nation communities, which includes orientation events, workshops and the transition to life in the city.
