Get ready, Thunder Bay! Rainbow Collective of Thunder Bay is proud to present the inaugural Frost Festival, an eight-day winter celebration of 2SLGBTQIA+ pride, joy, resilience, and community — taking place February 22 to March 1, 2026.
Frost Festival is about coming together in the heart of winter to celebrate who we are, uplift one another, and create warm, welcoming spaces for queer, trans, Two-Spirit folks and allies of all ages.
Across the week, Frost Festival will feature a mix of signature events and community-driven programming, including:
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22 - Sleigh Rides at Gammondale Farm - 1: 30 to 3:30 pm - FREE - first come, first serve!
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23 - Music Bingo: Frost Festival Edition at Dawson Trail Craft Brewery - 7 pm - FREE
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24 - Coffee & Open Mic Night at Red Lion Smokehouse - 6:30 pm - FREE
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25 - Drag Bingo at Norteno's Cantina - 7 pm - FREE
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26 - Diva's Trivia Night at Pocketchange - 7 pm - FREE
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27 - Glitter & Ice Ball at Lakehead University Outpost
